Architectural Drafter - Boston Area

Stillwater Dwellings is a residential design firm specializing in high-end prefabricated contemporary homes. We are currently working on projects throughout the Western US. We are seeking a full-time Architectural Drafter with 5+ years of experience to add to our growing design studio team. The ideal candidate should have both a residential drafting and technical background. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a strong drive to learn, improve, and grow with us.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize AutoCAD to draft and develop architectural drawings.

  • Handle a fast-paced work schedule and maintain a high level of accuracy, while balancing multiple projects and priorities at any given time.

  • Work in support of the Project Architect to ensure that projects are completed in a timely fashion.

  • Assist the Design Studio with process improvement tasks including template revisions, CAD block development, layer management, and related tasks.

  • Assist the Design Studio with drawings from concept design through construction documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Architectural, Construction or Technical degree from an accredited collegiate institution.

  • 3+ years of applicable drafting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Professional experience working on construction documents, especially high-end, single-family residential design and wood frame construction.

  • Knowledge of residential building codes, standards, and procedures.

  • Must be highly proficient in Auto CAD.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $65,000-75,000 DOE

Project Architect

Stillwater Dwellings is a residential design firm specializing in high-end prefabricated contemporary homes. We are currently working on projects throughout the Western US. We are seeking a full-time Project Architect with 5+ years of experience to add to our growing design studio team. The ideal candidate should have both a strong design and technical background. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a strong drive to learn, improve, and grow with us. This position can be Remote Working if needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Programming and Project Research, including zoning review, code review, and permit requirements.

  • Carry out project vision from the start of the schematic phase through to fabrication.

  • Complete pricing and permitting sets on time and on budget.

  • Must be capable of balancing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Manage correspondence with zoning and permitting jurisdictions.

  • Manage client relationships. Good communication skills, verbally and graphically, is a must.

  • Front consultant coordination efforts: both those contracted to Owner and those directly contracted to Stillwater Dwellings.

  • Communicate well with other staff members.

  • Observe and Identify areas of potential process, service, and product improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accredited professional degree in Architecture (Bachelors or Masters of Architecture).

  • Licensure is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience. Much of this experience should be in high-end, single-family residential design with wood frame construction.

  • Must be proficient in Auto CAD and SketchUp.

  • Must have strong knowledge and experience preparing permit and construction documents.

  • Must have highly developed written as well as interpersonal skills.

  • LEED Accreditation is a plus.

Sales Administrator

Stillwater Dwellings is a residential design firm specializing in high-end prefabricated contemporary homes. We are currently working on projects throughout the Western US. We are seeking a full-time Sales Administrator with 2+ years of experience to add to our growing design studio team. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a strong drive to learn, improve, and grow with us.


RESPONSIBILITIES  


Lead Communications-70%

  • Respond to prospect email inquiries and phone calls in a timely manner

  • Reach out to new prospects daily from Salesforce

  • Identify qualified prospects by gathering project information and scheduling a call/meeting with a Sales Representative

  • Set follow-up tasks (for a phone call or email) in Salesforce and keep updated daily with these tasks

Sales Representative Communications--15%

  • Keep up-to-date with Sales Representatives regarding their calendar, appointments, travel, and lead follow-up.

  • This includes coordinating site visits, client meetings, and phone/video calls.

  • Conduct monthly meetings with Sales Representatives to review the status of leads and note any additional follow-ups needed

  • Screen Sales Representative’s email--add emails to Salesforce, answer basic lead questions, and send reminders for specific follow-ups needed

  • Check in with Sales Representatives weekly regarding marketing materials to be sent to prospects, and coordinate mailings with the Office Manager

Marketing Support and Events--10%

  • Conduct webinars and in-person presentations to educate our audience about our homes and answer questions

  • Participate in and assist coordination of client education office events

  • Upload event participant information into Salesforce and send appropriate follow-up

  • Manage and update events calendar with input from management. Events include webinars, seminars, and open houses

  • Keep track of client move-in dates and send housewarming gifts

  • Proofread and provide input on marketing efforts (newsletter, website content, printed material, etc.)

Reporting--5%

  • Generate monthly lead reports from Salesforce in support of marketing and sales efforts

  • Track trends in lead volume, quality, and geography and report to management

  • Create Salesforce reports as requested by management, including specific segments of our audience for marketing communications and event invitations


QUALIFICATIONS

  •  2+ years of professional experience.

  •  Must be proficient with CRM Software ie. Salesforce

  •  Must have proficient digital and telephone skills.

  •  Must have highly developed written as well as interpersonal skills.

  •  Sales Experience, Design, and Construction Experience a plus.

Salary range $45,000-$50,000 DOE
