Heritage Series

Located in Pacific Palisades’ Alphabet Streets, this custom Heritage Series home reflects the homeowners’ commitment to rebuilding in the neighborhood they love. The homeowner, who owns an interior design firm, is actively involved in the design process, helping shape every detail of the home’s interiors. Designed for a prominent corner lot, the home features brick siding, steel windows, a side-entry garage, and a thoughtfully planned two-story layout on a compact footprint. The project is currently in permitting, with approvals anticipated soon.

Located on a prominent corner lot in Pacific Palisades, this Signature Series home is thoughtfully designed to create privacy while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. The homeowners raised their family in the original home and chose to rebuild in the community they have long called home. Working closely with the design team, they selected a single-level floor plan with universal design principles to support accessibility and aging in place. The home’s L-shaped configuration creates a private outdoor living space while shielding the home from both adjoining streets. The project broke ground in July 2026 and is now under construction.

Monument St.

Custom Connection Series

After attending a Stillwater fire rebuild seminar, the homeowners returned to their property for the first time since the fire, marking an emotional milestone in their rebuilding journey. Designed as a custom Connection Series home, the three-level residence responds to a challenging cross-sloped site with a lower-level garage, a steep rear hillside, and expansive rear views. The compact design includes an elevator and takes advantage of California’s 110% replacement ordinance to maximize the home’s livable space while remaining within the allowable rebuilding guidelines. The project is currently awaiting permit approval.

Rebuilding After the 2018 Woolsey Fire: Malibu, California

In 2018, the Woolsey Fire swept through Malibu, consuming over 97,000 acres and more than 600 structures, leaving families to grapple with unimaginable loss. As the largest wildfire in the area’s history, it forced thousands to face the daunting task of rebuilding.

After the 2017 Tubbs Fire, a Stillwater client chose to rebuild her Napa home. This off-grid, ADA-accessible prefab design combines advanced solar efficiency with modern architecture, setting a new standard for fire rebuilds in California.
